A Legacy of Faith and Duty
Never before in the course of these United States has there been a greater need to shore up the foundations of our nation's character and spiritual resolve. Solomon, the wisest man that ever lived, admonished us to "Remove not the ancient landmark, which your fathers have set." A strong faith in God's hand of providence and great personal sacrifice were the pillars upon which our republic was founded. To allow our founding father's faith to be hidden or removed from the halls of history would be a mockery of George Washington's legacy and sacrifice.
The George Washington Society and Foundation seeks to keep alive the smoldering fire of George Washington's spiritual legacy. Through education, advocacy and financial support, members find new ways to pass this sacred flame, which was lit by our founding father, from one generation to another. Meetings and conferences will be held at the George Washington Inn, which was built as a monument to his faith, to perpetuate George Washington's legacy of faith and duty.
Our base of support will grow as patriots find a common voice and a renewed sense of responsibility for our nation. You, too, can make a difference. Contact us to become a part of this vital mission.

The National Hymn
(Written for the centennial celebration of the United States Constitution)
God of our fathers, whose almighty hand
Leads forth in beauty all the starry band
Of shining worlds in splendor through the skies
Our grateful songs before Thy throne arise.
Thy love divine hath led us in the past,
In this free land by Thee our lot is cast,
Be Thou our Ruler, Guardian, Guide and Stay,
Thy Word our law, Thy paths our chosen way.
From war’s alarms, from deadly pestilence,
Be Thy strong arm our ever sure defense;
Thy true religion in our hearts increase,
Thy bounteous goodness nourish us in peace.
Refresh Thy people on their toilsome way,
Lead us from night to never ending day;
Fill all our lives with love and grace divine,
And glory, laud, and praise be ever Thine.
